Regular Season Round 12: Rae/Kiili - Olomouc 76-82

There was a surprise result when seventh ranked CzechOlomouc (6-2) won against second-best Latvian Rae/Kiili (7-5) 82-76 on Sunday. Rae/Kiili trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 20-15 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 76-82 at the end of the game. Olomouc dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Rae/Kiili 's 38. Olomouc forced 21 Rae/Kiili turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Felix Heinz who helped to win the game recording 34 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and Filip Prikryl who added 15 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was Jakob Zirk with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and Romet Saarniit scored 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Rae/Kiili players scored in double figures. Rae/Kiili's coach let to play ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Olomouc have an impressive five-game winning streak. Despite that victory Olomouc went down to 35th position due to points difference, which they share with Sokol Prazsky and Vodno Suns. Loser Rae/Kiili dropped to the 34th place with five games lost.
